The Rub:

Directions
Rub:
Mix well and add to a shaker, give the ribs a light coating of mustard to help the rub stick and dust over both sides of the spare ribs until coated and colored up.
Method:
Add onions and garlic to a pan and cook until translucent, add the pineapple and cook until the pineapple begins to soften.
Add the remaining ingredients and cook down until consistency of sauce.
You may want to blend it to a smooth consistency, this mix can be bottled and kept refrigerated.
