Bacon Whisky Chili

Ingredients

  • Ground Venison
  • Maple syrup
  • Corn
  • Baked beans
  • Chickpeas
  • Kidney beans
  • Roma tomatoes
  • Chipotle & adobo sauce
  • Tomato paste
  • Your fav whiskey
  • Olive oil
  • Bacon
  • Mushrooms
  • Onions

Directions

  1. Chop up mushrooms, bacon and onions.
  2. Over high heat sear the chopped veggies and bacon.
  3. Add in some maple syrup and whiskey.
  4. Coat the outside of the venison with some oil.
  5. Sear both sides of the venison over high heat.
  6. Place the pot of veggie and bacon mix over medium heat.
  7. Add seared venison to the mix of cooked veggies and bacon and mix in the venison.
  8. Add some heat with adobo chilis or your fav heat item.
  9. Add the tomato paste, Kidney beans, chicpeas, corn, baked beans and mix everything up while cooking.
  10. Add the tomato paste and season with SPG or your fav seasoning and mix everything.
  11. Cover and cook for 20mins or so over low-med heat while stirring regularly.
