Ingredients

  • Bacon
  • Ground pork
  • Butter
  • Bold sauce
  • Burger buns
  • Cheese slices
  • Thin shredded onions
  • Paprika
  • Sea salt
  • Coarse black pepper

Directions

  1. Thinly slice 2 large onions.
  2. Chop up some pork belly bacon real fine. Add some smoked paprika, some hot sauce, a large slab of butter and mix this with the ground pork.
  3. Make some burgers out of this mix. Flatten the burger a little and sprinkle a good amount of coarse black pepper over them.
  4. In a large iron pan add some oil and fry the sliced onions, sprinkle some sea salt till they are soft. Keep aside.
  5. Heat the burgers on indirect heat. Cook the underneath of the burger the way you want it and then flip it. Let the black pepper cook nice onto the burger.
  6. Flip and add a slice of cheese and let it melt a little. In the mean time toast some burger buns on the side.
