IRON PAN CHICKEN

Watch how easy it is to serve up some of the best tasting chicken you'll ever eat with these few simple tips by the BBQ Pit Boys.

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

  • 12 inch black iron pan
  • 3.5-4lb Fryer Chicken
  • Cooking or Olive oil
  • Salt, Pepper, Garlic seasoning

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat the pan over hot coals 2. Place the Chicken in, breast side up 3. Move the pan opposite the coals 4. Cover the grill for about 1/2 hour 5. Rotate the pan, cover grill and then shut down the heat 6. Chicken is done in about 1/2 additional hour 7. (temperature of breast meat should be 160-165F) 8. Remove from grill 9. Cover the Chicken with foil and rest for 1/2 hour
