Care
This Knife is 100% hand forged from premium high carbon steel which results in a high carbon content blade and long lasting edge retention.
All knives are shipped with food grade mineral oil coating on the blades which we recommend you wash off prior to use.
Care Instructions:
- Hand wash and dry immediately
- Apply mineral oil to the blade before storing for an extended period of time
High carbon Damascus steel blades will begin to form a patina (a slight color change) with use which helps to stabilize freshly forged blades and become more rust resistant over time.
